WiseWays Herbals Mandala Chakra Garden Chakra
Garden
In 1994, after inspiration from a dream, the vegetable and herb gardens were redesigned into a large mandala with special beds to grow flowers for the Chakra Oils. Within the center of the mandala, flowers were planted in a circle of raised, pie-shaped beds according to the color of the rainbow. Aphrodite, the Goddess of Water and Love, stands gracefully within the center of the heart of the garden. During the summer, the gardens are bursting with brilliant, majestic colors in many different shades of the rainbow. Red Shiso covers its whole bed radiating, with regal presence, the Root chakra. The bright orange of Calendula illuminates the second chakra. Sunflowers, Elecampane and Indian Cup Plant proudly radiate the yellow ray. In the heart of the garden, Dill stands tall with its tiny fragrant green flowers next to the pink Echinacea representing the Heart chakra ray. The flowers of Vervain & Sage channel the blue ray for the Throat chakra. Anise Hyssop's delicate purple flowers exude a delicious licorice fragrance as you brush by their soft leaves activating the Third Eye chakra. The lacy Valerian dances in the white bed along with the elegant Yarrow with its ferny, sweetly scented flowers that purifies the air. Monarch butterflies lazily drift throughout the gardens blessing each of them with their presence. About
