During the Harmonic Convergence in August, 1987, a period heralding a reawakening for all humanity, I was meditating on a remote hilltop in Williamsburg, MA. A vision appeared of this symbol. I knew it was significant so I scratched it onto my sitting pad. An artist finalized the design to use as a new logo for my small herb business, Isis Herbs. Isis is revered in Egypt as the great mother of the universe and the Goddess of spiritual regeneration and natural healing through love, compassion and divine wisdom. She symbolizes the esoteric mysteries of life. Since the ancient symbol of Isis, the circle within the arching horns, was embodied in the design of the logo, it already emanated her healing vibration. I later changed the name to WiseWays Herbals to represent an herbal business that drew on all aspects of the ancient Wise Woman healing traditions.

The logo also represents:

• Taurus, my sun sign.
• The center circle is the full moon, the emotional, intuitive and creative aspects of ourselves.
• The outer circle is the Earth, our mother, so beautiful and round, our only home.
• The wavy lines are the flowing waters, the essential element of all life that nourishes us.
• The arching horns reach towards the light, the spirit, above and beyond the Earth.
